Hi all,
I download the 32bits version from http://www.apstel.com/download/vdp_prof/lin/VisualDialplanProfessional-3.3.00-Linux-x86-Install

I have slitaz (tiny linux distribution)version 4.0 with this properties:
Distribution: Slitaz 4.0 (http://www.slitaz.org)
Platform: i686
Kernel: 2.6.37
JRE version: 1.9.7

I add exec permission for this script and run under normal user and root user and I’m getting the same issue: install program stops at Installing (after “Building uninstall”). if I select skip or OK in the error message box, nothing happens and the install screen stays like this

By the way, the install will be done in the folder /usr/local/apstel/vdp_prof and my machine have 96MB.

I made some search in forum and the only things I found are related to java issues under Ubuntu and 64 Linux platform.

Did someone faced this issue before on a linux platform or slitaz?

Hello Benkhesa,

There is known issue with Visual Dialplan installer and some of 64bit Linux distributions.

I guess you run into this issue.

The workaround is to unpack and run pre-installed Visual Dialplan.
Simply download, unpack archive and run Visual Dialplan.
You will be missing some minor features like VDP file association with Visual Dialplan but you’ll have it running.
