hello I am trying out a new distro called SwitchedonPBX, partially based off Elastix but on Debian 6, Asterisk 1.8 and Freepbx 2.9

i assumed VDP would work on it since it’s tested with asterisk 1.8 but when i deploy my vdp file, even the samples, nothing happens, when i log on to the server i see the include and the externsion_vdp.conf file but if i dial those ext, nothing happens, it hangups or says invald ext.

anyone else have tried VDP on this distro or asterisk 1.8 when i do the automatic testing it says it’s asterisk 1.8 with freepbx

I’m currently using VDP 3.1.06 with Plain 1.8 Asterisk and it works like a charm biggrin. The truth is I haven’t had an opportunity to try Switchedon PBX … It’s a new distribution and the question is how stable it is.
