I see that with integration servers you need to purchase licenses for a number of concurrent calls. Is this license actually related to concurrent calls on the asterisk server or is it related to concurrent accesses of the Integration Server?

So if I have 20 concurrent calls but information is only queried from the IS at the beginning of each 1 minute calls and written at the end of the call do I need 20 licenses or might I be able to get away with less if I think that fewer calls will be accessing IS simultaneously?

    Thanks,

    Lee

    Lee,

Please note that the license is related to the concurrent call on Asterisk server that use Integration Server functionality.
For example, if you have 20 calls but only 5 of those 20 calls will access MS SQL database, you will need 5 database module licenses.
However, if each call access MS SQL database you will need 20 database module licenses.

    Michael,

    Thanks again!

If I start off with 10 licenses and want to upgrade to 20 do I just order another lot of 10 and add these or are there separate upgrade licenses?

    Thanks,

    Lee

    Lee,

Feel free to start with 10 licenses and if your needs grow and you want to handle 20 concurrent calls with your dial plan, you will
need to purchase 10 additional licenses.

    Lee,

There are no separate/upgrade licenses, you will just order another lot of 10 licenses and add it to the IS.
