    I am using the recording facility to keep a recording of a callers comments. I know that the # key can be used to finish the recording or this can be switched to the * key. Is there any way to stop recording on the press of any key?

    Check y option (starting from asterisk 1.8):
    y: Terminate recording if *any* DTMF digit is received.
