I was using the trial version of VDP with Elastix, and love the ease of use. I am not a Asterisk expert, but this application makes it so easy. Once the trial expired, I purchased the VDP Standard.

After installing the application, I connected it to my elastix server. When I went to register my key, I got the following error: Unable to register the application…: Unable to store license data.

Can anyone tell me how to resolve this error? I need to get VDP up, so I can finish the dialplan and deploy our new PBX.

If you have any questions for me, please let me know. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Kind Regards,

    Titon,

As much as I can remember there was some issue between VDP and UAC- User Account Control in earlier versions of Visual Dialplan. So, you have 2 alternatives, to disable UAC and then register VDP or to download newer version of Visual Dialplan.

Yup.. UAC was the issue in Windows 7. All I had to is right click the VDP and run as administrator. That took care of the issue.
